165/365

We had a great day here in Santee starting at 6am with a fishing trip. It was full of great excitement as we actually CAUGHT a few fish (and Sarah Lou even caught a SNAPPING TURTLE!)

This is the SECOND fish I have caught in my entire life. Pitiful, I know. About a 20 lb bass! (or maybe 2lb, but who's really keeping track?)
Sarah was scared of the catfish....
And then Sarah caught a snapping turtle... it was VICIOUS!
Amy caught a catfish, also! We girls had a very successful day! :)
After our early morning fishing excursion we headed out to Charleston. We spent some time shopping at the market and ate lunch at a neat restaurant in Summerville called Queen Anne's Ravine. What a fun day! Ended with a drive through Dr. Ledbetter's stomping ground... and then a nice trip back to Clemson.
The WONDERFUL Ledbetter family- I thank God for them.
Downtown Charleston... of all of the beautiful, historic, picturesque objects to take pictures of, we take a picture in front of Ben and Jerry's. Typical.
Go South.
We visited the Waterfront Park while we were there... one of Dr. Ledbetter
s favorite spots
in Charleston. One of mine, too!

Thanks to the Ledbetters for including us in their family this week! It was such a neat break from life!
