13.1 smiles this morning with Zhixin, and beat my PB (I am still no collegiate runner:)). What a fun run, and a great time of encouragement. Zhixin and I would go back and forth sharing prayer requests, and then we'd (silently) pray with/for each other. What a neat way to spend 13.1 miles... with a sweet friend and with God.
I'm so proud of Zhixin for hitting the 13.1 mark for the first time! One thing I love about running and really anything outdoors is seeing people set goals and then hit them. I know how exciting it is for the person setting the goal and accomplishing, but to watch it from my viewpoint is eve more exciting!
Thankful to God for giving me such a great friend.
