My Best Friend's Wedding....

SO THANKFUL to have spent some time in Florida with my dear friend, Julia Dawn Clement. In fact, I was able to spend time with MANY dear friends from college.

Sarah and I made the trek to St. Pete Beach, Florida for the celebration of Jules and Victor. It's so neat to see how the Lord has provided for Julia- she and Victor are absolutely perfect for each other. We had a great time at this destination wedding and enjoyed our slow trip back through Savannah, GA.

Isn't Jules just beautiful? Her youngest two brothers
walked her down the "aisle"- it was precious!
Beautiful day for a wedding. It was so special for Victor's dad to be able
to perform the ceremony.
Love my best friend!

Jules and her incredible, beautiful mom.
Thankful for a wedding week in St Pete Beach, FL.

On our way back Sarah and I took a detour for a couple of days in Savannah, Ga. We had the best time walking around Savannah, eating tons of food (including the famous prailines... mmm!), buying local art, taking lots of pictures, laughing... we had the best time together. It's been so busy this last year and I feel like this was a really great time to catch up with Sarah and just spend time together!

I love finding hearts in furniture... beautiful Savannah, GA.

This is the home of the famous pralines, and they are
AMAZING!!!
Sarah and I ate dinner one night at the Olde Pink House. It
is the oldest mansion in Savannah and the food was delicious.
What a FUN way to spend an evening!!

Love the architecture in this old city.
Thankful for Sarah!
After our stop in Savannah, Sarah and I stopped in Columbia so that she could print her ID and meet with her advisor at USC. It's hard to believe she'll be headed off to grad school in just a few months. Unfortunately we lose her to Arizona for the summer (which is really exciting for her- and she will have some awesome time with Matt and Rach), but then she comes home and to grad school she goes.

Thankful for this time with Louise, and for the time celebrating Jules and Victor. AND thankful for safety!

Now, thankful to be HOME.

Thankful for a full weekend of meeting new people, celebrating a wedding, traveling, shopping, spending time with Ronnie and his family and friends, seeing Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (where Rdizzle went to seminary), drinking Starbucks (that we drove 10 minutes off of the interstate to find... in the middle of a mall... a free-standing Starbucks... we have problems.), visiting North Wake Church, ...

So thankful for so many things. Here are a few pictures to re-cap.

Ronnie's dad's dog... BO... is just tiny and precious!

Bo, once again. Smallest dog I've ever met.

So good to meet David and Amy and spend time with them!

Ronnie and his Aunt Wanda and Uncle John. So thankful that
they were willing to house us for the weekend, feed us, welcome us!

Thankful!

WEDDING DAY!!! So thankful for God's provision in both Rach and Will's lives. It's so neat to be in Ft. Worth to walk through this day with Rach. We've shared so many memories over the years as she has spent quite a bit of time living with us in Clemson. We've gone through some pretty tough heartbreak together, and it is just so NEAT to see how God has provided WILL for Rach (and vice versa), and to see how faithful God has been to Rach through all of the ups and downs.

I feel so blessed to be standing by Rachel today. So thankful for her and honored to share in her day.

I'd say that it was a BEAUTIFUL day for a wedding!!!

Rach's friend Haley Mitchell did her hair for the wedding and did a BEAUTIFUL job!

Everybody getting ready! Thankful for that Katrina girl!

Woot woot! Brush those pearly whites, Sarah Lou!

Will sent Rach a letter and a plant. This is Rach's favorite flower- so sweet!

Beautiful hydrangeas!

Lisa and Sarah- friends of Rach's from Ohio. It was SO GREAT to see them again after so many years.
Sarah and I met them a LONG time ago when we went to visit Rach.
Love them!

Almost time to get in THE DRESS!

I loved this picture. The flower girl was twirling around-- and Rach was just watching.
So relaxed and so excited!! AND LOOK AT HER HAIR! Beautiful!

Carrie helping the flower girl get dressed. Carrie
was SO helpful and finished a lot of last minute details. She saves the day always!

Beautiful! How many people does it take to fasten a wedding dress?!!

Love love!!! Thankful for these two ladies!

Rach had a candy table and it was SO cute!!!!

Beautiful cake! (though I forgot to eat a piece... too busy dancing!)

Matt, Rach, Kathryn and Benton were all able to make it for the wedding!!!

:)

Aunt Carol is so beautiful! Here we all are trying to pass the last few minutes!!!
Thankful for this day... more pictures to come.... :)

So we have been busy busy around this Dallas area. Dad, Mom, Sarah and I have been staying with  Monroe and Katie and have had just the best time!!!  We've spent a good portion of our time on the road since the wedding is in Ft. Worth. It's not too far of a drive, but you never know how traffic is going to factor in. A 45 minute drive can VERY quickly become a 1 1/2 hour TREK! So thankful to be in town for one of Rachel's showers... and it was just beautiful!!!
Hannah (maid of honor) and Sarah (bridesmaid)

Ellie's first girly shower... ;)

Mmmm.... these types of touches are so much fun!!!

Love the shades!

There were little bouncy balls all around- the lady who threw the shower did a
FABULOUS job! It was so much fun and well planned- so many cute touches!

Love my cousins!

Rachel opened our wedding gifts along with her other fun
stuff... and this is one of my favorite gifts to give for weddings!
Beatrize Ball... look it up. It's AMAZING!

What a fun party!!! Thankful for all of these ladies!
Now to get ready for a wedding TOMORROW!!!!!
