Spent the day with Katherine Bougie... READY for little Calvin to be born!
Kat has done such a GREAT job with the nursery! (And I suppose Andrew helped....) Oh-- it is precious. When little Calvin is born and in his new room I will post pictures so you can see. Katherine has a real gift.
I'm so thankful for Kat and the memories we share! Her due date is in 9 short days. 9!!! AH! I think she's going to have the baby early!
OK Calvin... come on and meet us!!

POWER GROUP....
Tonight I had my first power group meeting. What a blessing.
[P-prayer O-openness W-Word E-encouragement R-responsibility]
This semester in CI our power groups are doing a study outside of Wednesday nights on walking in the Spirit... Galatians 5. Tonight was such an encouragement. We spent our time talking about Christian liberty, what it is, how do we approach our liberty in Christ. Is it freedom to do whatever we want, or is it the ability to live life free of sin... through the precious cross of Christ? Of course it's the latter of the two.
We discussed our responsibility as believers... we discussed the difference between preferences and convictions and how we are to respond when others offend our preference vs commiting clear Biblical sin. How are we to respond... of course, in love. No matter if somebody is knowledgably in sin or not, love. And the other question is, when do we forebear and realize that HEY, this isn't a big deal?!
It was quite the discussion and such a blessing. I love the body of Christ and the fact that while the finger and toe look completely different, they each have a purpose. :)
Thankful for encouragement in the Word tonight... and friendship.
And also... went swing dancing at EDGARS underground here in Clemson after Bible study, which was a blast! ALL-IN-ALL, a great day!

LONG RUN. Zhixin and Sarah both set a Personal Best for distance, and that was exciting. 16 smiles... getting the distance in and so excited about the Marine Corps Marathon NEXT MONTH!
PS. We stopped and got bagels (again... 2 days in a row), and once again enjoyed the benefits of living in Clemson. Nothing like an ORANGE everything bagel!

This morning I spent several hours with a dear friend Gretchen Meade... helping her get ready for her wedding! I did her hair and she looked just beautiful! So excited for Gretch and Wes and what God is doing in their lives in bringing them together!
After the wedding preparation, I headed over with my family to the game. (Naturally) Clemson... WON! It was a tough call playing Wofford (so sad) but we made it! PART of the Fisher family joined us for the game which was really fun! [I must confess.... some of these pictures are from the opening game last weekend]

8-ball Tournament... and NEW MOON FESTIVAL!
Thankful for the campus ministry I've been a part of here at Clemson. Tonight we had an 8-ball tournament at Edgar's Underground on campus and it was a blast. Got to meet lots of new people! CSSA (Chinese student and scholar's association) rented out the other half of Edgars (that CI didn't rent) and they were celebrating the Moon Festival, which is a very big holiday in China. Moon cake... you should try it!

I want to say that Clemson football is my favorite.
First game (Last Saturday) was a blast. (eventhough we didn't play too well) Rach is in town and she brought Benton and Kathryn. We have to start these little kiddo's early!
Here are some pictures from the First Friday parade in Clemson....
