Family time...

SO thankful that for the next couple of weeks we have all of the kiddo's in Clemson. We decided to take some pictures around Clemson-- special thanks to Mark Lopez for coming and helping. (His pictures will be fun to see!)

We started at the Botanical gardens in Clemson...

Benton felt the need to protect little Kathryn. There was a little boy that ran over and started looking at her, and then Benton ran over and stood just like this until the little boy walked away. He said... "NO" :/ Oops... not sure if that is a good or a bad thing. :)
 

Daniel and Dan looking at the HUGE (literally) goldfish in the pond. I think they've been growing in this little pond since I was 5... I know they are the same fish. :) They are MASSIVE!!

And then we moved to Death Valley... probably the most famous place in Clemson, SC! :)

Dear Mom,

Thanks for all you have done for me during my lifetime. My creative writing skills are due to your constant push for intellectual stimulation... from the times you encouraged us to play cowboys and indians in the yard, to the hours we spent playing YMCA basketball/baseball/softball (even though the softball year was a bad idea...), or maybe even when you allowed me to believe I could actually dig all the way to China.  You have been an aid in helping to develop this poetic ability, and I owe all of my success to you. (Because there are many, many more poems where the above poem came from)

OK OK OK... in alllll honesty... Mom, you are just the best. I'm just going to throw this out there- you're probably my favorite mom in all of the world. In fact, you ARE my favorite mom, and if I had been given the option to go to Mom's-R-Us and pick out the most perfect mom, you would have been the one! :) (and I'm not saying all of this so that you will name me #1 in the will... because we all know that I am already in that position, so this has no effect) :)

I really do appreciate all of the sacrifices you have made for me. I know you do because I see it every day, especially now that I work with you and I see all the behind-the-scene STUFF that goes on. You are such a blessing in my life, and I am so thankful to know you. Thanks for being that ear that I am seemingly needing more and more these days, and thanks for understanding me. You have spent so many hours laughing and crying with me... and those moments are gifts that will never be taken away.

Thanks for your godly example... for encouraging me to love Jesus and to go to Him no matter what situation God brings along. I pray that one day I will walk with God the way that you do,  I will love others selflessly the way you do, I will give to others the way you do, I will listen to others the way you do... mom, you're the best!

I just love you to the moon and back! :)

Congratulations, Matt and Jon!!!

Today marks a wonderful day in the lives of two very important people in my life. Matt Wilson (brother-in-law) received his masters of Divinity from Bob Jones, and Jon Ledbetter graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Bible.

I'm very thankful the Lord has placed such godly guys in my family... and surrounding my family. I am so blessed to have Matt as my brother-in-law, and so thankful Jon has been willing to put up with Sarah for this long. God has been so kind to our family, and I'm so proud of what God has done in their lives in bringing them to this day. (That is, if I'm allowed to be proud about this... ) :)

Happy graduation day! HARD to believe that last year at this time I was celebrating with many friends and family at my parents house in Clemson. So many changes have taken place in this last year... some expected and some unexpected. But it's neat through all of the change to know that ...

Thankful for good friends... the ones that have literally known you all of your life, the ones who are willing to tell you like it is, the ones who will cry with you and laugh with you, but they still shoot straight.

Went to dinner tonight with one of my dearest friends of all time and am so thankful. So blessed to have so many awesome, TRUE friends in my life.

So, if you are considered "friend" (and if you are reading this you probably are :).... thank you for the role you have played in my life.

Mixed day of emotions for Allison May Campbell... I just have to be honest.

Sometimes God brings us through different struggles in life where all we can do is turn to Him. And the truth of the matter is, when we look at the cross of Christ, our biggest struggles are nothing. I'm having a tough time tonight thanking God. It's amazing how as believers even when we know that God is good and that everything He does is good... our minds play tricks on us. God is good and that is a fact. What He is performing in my life right now is good. Fact. I struggle to trust. Fact. 

My lack of faith in Christ is proof that I do not view God to be as AMAZING as He is. If I truly trusted God's power, I wouldn't doubt Him. If I truly trusted God's goodness and love for me, I wouldn't question. I need to view my God as the powerful, loving, CARING Father that HE TRULY IS. God is so good. Even today. Even tomorrow... Always!

Hallelujah, All I have is Christ. Hallelujah, Jesus is my life.

I'm thankful that despite what I am facing, I can have true life in Jesus Christ. I am thankful today for the love He has bestowed upon me. Fact.

I'm so thankful that God's mercies are new every morning and that He IS FAITHFUL.

I've been able to watch the most beautiful painted skies here in Palm Coast Florida. It's been just a beautiful, relaxing trip in every way. The resort we are staying at has a nice pool and lazy river, so Aunt Jeanie and I spent a good portion of yesterday basking in the sun. What a nice time to relax after such an eventful weekend!

Thanks to the Lord for REST, and that He is so faithful to me.

Palm Coast, Florida...

This week I have the privilege to go to a conference with our division of Tower Square Securities. It was a great conference and so nice to meet new people in our line of work, as well as reconnect with familiar faces. We met at the Hammock Resort in Palm Coast, Florida, and while we spent many hours in sessions, we did get to play out in the sun a good bit, and even made a quick trip to the outlets!

I am so excited about the opportunities God is opening for me in my life. I have struggled time and time again with His plan for my life (and continue to do so), and this week has just confirmed in my heart that this is what I need to be doing. This week God has given me a new love and passion for what He has called me to do... help people

I am so thankful that even when we do not have a CLUE what God's plan for our life will look like, if we just continue to walk towards Him and with Him, He truly does provide us with the desire to do His will. I have no clue what the next ten years of my life will look like, but I'm so thrilled to be a part of the journey that God has given me now.

RACE WEEKEND was a success... now to Florida!

Just wanted to post a few pictures from the weekend. We had such a GREAT time-- only thing that could have been better is if the rest of my family were there. The weather was GORGEOUS, the company was awesome, the race course was fun (challening... very hilly... but fun!)...

All in all, a FABULOUS weekend! And a great flight to Florida. Ready to enjoy some time with my parents as well as learning more about this business. Thankful for my family, thankful for my job, thankful for the beach that I will be sleeping on in about 12 hours. :)

and then we ate a second dinner at a BBQ place. Fun night

Great experience TWICE... you know it's a fun race if you enjoy it two years in a row!

Last time we ran this race Victoria was our designated newbie... this time it was Brient!
And both of them set great PR's on a tough course! I'm telling you, this running
thing is pretty fun!!!
